  • My choices: a vision for self directed support

    Publication

    The purpose of ‘My Choices’ was to start with the vision for Self Directed Support and see what could happen when disabled people were supported to have choice and control over their lives and to find out about the sorts of support that they might need.

    Wider lessons may inspire service planners and policy makers in relation to Self Directed Support and models of support which disabled people value and benefit from.

  • Wisdom, Wit and A Whirl

    Publication

    Glasgow Disability Alliance (GDA) held Wisdom, Wit and a Whirl, a briefing and consultation event on the Reshaping Care for Older People (RCOP) agenda on Friday 14th June 2013. 202 older disabled people and older people with long term health conditions attended. The event was an opportunity for the proposals to be tested with older people directly and this report summarises the views of older disabled people.
