Stephanie Kirkham

Trustee

Stephanie smiles at the camera, with short blonde hair and dark glasses.

Stephanie brings insights from further and higher education and her time at Glasgow HSCP. As a disabled person, she was blown away by how GDA rose up during the pandemic – providing the food and resources and setting up wellbeing, digital and online supports – and felt motivated to apply for the Board.

Stephanie has been responsible for managing, monitoring, and evaluating current Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion practice within complex structures. Stephanie first connected with GDA in her capacity as Equality Lead for Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership. Attending GDA events and engagement opportunities demonstrated to Stephanie the challenges of lived experience and the disconnect between organisations and their service users.

Stephanie has previously worked as the EDI Manager for Scottish Football Association, and brings her professional experience within the education, public and private sector as well her passion for cultural and strategic change to the GDA Board of Directors.
