    Assisted dying is very much in the news just now, as Bills to legalise it are before the Scottish and UK parliaments. Glasgow Disability Alliance (GDA), based on what our members have told us and along with all other Disabled People Led Organisations, are firmly opposed to any moves to legalise assisted dying.

  • An open letter from the Disabled People’s Movement

    22nd November 2024

    Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) in Scotland wrote an open letter on Wednesday 20th November, to call on the Scottish Government, COSLA, Unions and all political parties to “not let the moment pass” and to continue to work together, alongside disabled people, on developing a National Care Service with those who need social care at the heart of its design and delivery.
