Disabled Person’s Membership
Anyone who lives in Greater Glasgow and is a disabled person or has a long term health condition can become a GDA member.
Membership is also open to organisations controlled by disabled people that operate within the Greater Glasgow area.

Terms & Conditions
Full members are individual disabled people, or organisations that are controlled by disabled people. Full members have voting rights.
Associate members are allies and supporters, but have no voting rights.
GDA asks those applying for membership to read and agree to the following:
- Full or Associate Members must get official permission from GDA to use GDA’s name to promote their work and personal objectives.
- Members, individuals or groups, must get official agreement from GDA to present themselves as spokespersons for GDA.
- Members must agree to treat other members and GDA staff with dignity and respect and must co-operate with GDA’s Zero Tolerance policy on discrimination.
- Members must avoid threatening or abusive behaviour towards other members and staff-this will not be tolerated and sanctions may be applied.
