People Make Glasgow, and Disabled People make GDA! Along with our vital network of funders, allies, associate members and supporters. Here’s how you can get involved:
Become a member
Full voting membership is open to disabled people and people with long term conditions, age 11 or older, who live, work or are active in Glasgow.
Membership is free – click the pink button ‘become a member’ below to apply.
Members receive our newsletters and learning bulletins with details and invites to our free learning and events. Transport, personal assistance and communication support provided where needed.
Here’s 5 reasons to join:
- Access GDA programmes, events and activities.
- Join discussions and have your voice heard.
- Meet new people.
- Learn new skills.
- Have fun!
Associate Membership
We can’t achieve our Vision all by ourselves! We need allies and supporters to work with us to remove barriers and improve the lives of disabled people.
Carers, family members and workers who support disabled people can become associate (non-voting) members of GDA.
We actively look to work with organisations who support our mission and values. Organisations that are not led by disabled people can also become associate members.
Glasgow Community Lottery
We are part of the newly created Glasgow Community Lottery. If you would like to support us, you have the chance of winning £25,000. Each ticket is £1.
