An in-person workshop led by the GDA Wellbeing team, exploring tips and advice on managing menopause.
Everyone’s experience and suggestions are valuable and important. It is crucial to know that we are not alone in feeling overwhelmed at times by the ups and downs of this major transition in our lives, and its impact upon existing health conditions and disabilities.
We also make time for humour, encouragement and a few choice expletives where necessary! We promise a warm welcome (hot flushes optional!) to disabled women at any stage of menopause.
Taxis*, lunch and personal assistant support provided.
*Please note that depending on distance or if you live out-with Glasgow, you may be asked to make your own way to a bus or train station in Glasgow where we can then collect you in a taxi. The return taxi would take you back to this station after the event.
