Wednesday 17th August 10.30am – 12 noon. On Zoom.
Find out about important changes to welfare benefits for disabled people. This information session will explain about the rollout of the Adult Disability Payment – a new Scottish benefit that will replace Personal Independence Payments (PIP) and Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
Please note – if you already get PIP or DLA you do not need to apply for the new Adult Disability Payment. Social Security Scotland will move your benefit for you from the DWP. They will not review or reassess your award during the move.
Come along to find out more about the changes and how new claims for ADP will be assessed. The Rights Now welfare rights officers will explain all about key changes and take your questions. The session will also include information on the services and support that is available to help those worried about rising energy bills.
To book a place please call GDA on 0141 556 7103 or Text 07958 299 496 or email [email protected]
