GDA are award winners in 2019!

GDA were winners of the ‘outstanding practice and dedication to sensory loss and inclusion in a local area’ Award at Deaf Scotland’s Communication for All Awards on Friday!  We would like to thank SLi sign language interactions for their support in making all our events and films accessible – we couldn’t have done it alone!  deafscotland and Disability Equality Scotland put together a list of eight awards that champion those organisations and individuals across Scotland who are helping to build a Scotland that works for everyone by breaking down language, communication and physical barriers to active citizenship.


The category this year was tough, with a real variety of organisations nominated:
