Free Transitions Event for Parents & Carers

Come along to this fantastic, free transitions event for parents & carers of young disabled people.  Find out about available services and support and how to access them.

Free workshops including:

  • Self Directed Support: making sense of the "4 options" for SDS.
  • Skills Development Scotland: My World of Work and Parent Zone.
  • Family Fund: iPad basics and useful apps support communication.
  • Kelvin College: Basic IT Skills, including certificated short sessions.
  • Sexual Health & Relationships - information and support.

Information stalls including advocacy, benefits and money advice, employability services, housing information, independent living fund, legal and guardianship, self directed support, service providers and more!

Hear other parents and young people's own transitions stories, and enjoy some pampering in our chill out zone.
